About the Accommodation

Located on the crystal clear water of the Vinkeveense Plassen, you will find peace and fun for the whole family here. Explore the natural surroundings by boat, bicycle or on foot. After the BBQ, paddle a round on your SUP through the beautiful residential area and watch the sunset from the water. At the end of the day you can relax in the jacuzzi. There are plenty of toys for the children both in the house and in the garden. The house is modern, fresh and fully equipped.

Downstairs:
The stylishly furnished house was completely built and designed by the owners. The high ceiling gives a spacious feeling and the huge windows to the ceiling at the same time provide plenty of natural light in the house. On the ground floor you will find a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious modern dining table, a lovely sitting area with flat screen TV, a small play area for children and a bedroom with an adjoining bathroom. Towels and bed linen are provided. The walk-in rain shower has 2 separate shower heads so that you can shower together at your own temperature.

Upstairs:
On the upper floor you will find 2 bedrooms and a laundry room with toilet and sink. One bedroom has a double bed and the other bedroom is a children's room with, among other things, a changing table and crib. The window in the children's room has a blackout roller blind and a mosquito net.

The garden:
With both sun and shade, the garden is a nice place to enjoy the peace and quiet. You can sit outside, have a barbecue and enjoy the evening until the wee hours. For a fee you can use the boat to spend a day on the water. From the garden you can dive straight into the wonderful water. Children can play safely in the garden, there is a lockable fence between the garden and the water.

- The house is not accessible by public transport. A car is recommended.
- The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and is not rented to groups of young people.
- From the parking lot you have to walk about 100 meters to the house. We can help you with your luggage.

 * Extra service from BnB Assistant:
- It is possible to rent a Cornhole game (see photos). One-off 15 euros for your entire stay. Endless fun for the whole family.
 - It is possible to rent a sloop or motorboat. Ask for availability.
 - There is 1 SUP board available that can be used for free. It is possible to rent extra SUP boards. Ask for availability.
The costs for an extra SUP are €20 for one day or €10 per day for the entire stay. The price for a whole week is €50.

Neighbourhood

The house is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood in Vinkeveen with beautiful detached houses on the water. The place is easy to reach by car or taxi, but not by public transport. Within walking distance you will find restaurant Wander Island and Koffiehuis De Goede Morgen. Zandeiland 1 is less than a 5-minute walk away. This is a sandy beach where children can play in shallow water.

The Vinkeveense Plassen is a beautiful area to explore by boat or bicycle. Water and green go hand in hand here. The vast polder and Botshol nature reserve are a stone's throw away. There are several beautiful walking, cycling and sailing routes in the area. The house is located in the World Heritage Dutch Water Lines. Along the river Gein from Abcoude you cycle through ancient Dutch landscape where Mondrian painted many works. Links to these routes can be found in the personal online guide you receive from us.

There is a variety of restaurants in Vinkeveen and nearby Abcoude. From chic trendy restaurants to cozy eateries.

Transport

- There is no public transport near the house. A car is strongly recommended. In our guide we have tips on the easiest way to travel to Amsterdam and where you can park cheaply if you go by car.
- There is a train station in Abcoude (5 km). Here you can park for free and this train goes to Amsterdam in 15 minutes.
- There are no shops within walking distance. Only a restaurant and coffee house.
